Is marriage bad for your sex life?

According to one research, it is. The researches have found out that couples who  have sex over four times a week before their wedding, barely have it once a week after the wedding.

The survey that was conducted among 3,000 married couples showed some interesting results. Amazingly, almost half of the surveyed people said that their relationship with their partner, now that they are married, is more like friends, not lovers.

The survey showed that 59 percent of couples believe that their sexual life had worsened after marriage.

One third of the respondents said that they don’t have anymore such deep feelings for their partner like in the beginning of their relationship, and 43 percent said that their better half has "relaxed", that is, ceased to care about its looks.

In fact, 79 percent of the respondents were happier getting a good night's sleep than making the effort to have spontaneous sex in the middle of the night. Two thirds of the respondents blamed their hectic lifestyle for their unhappy sex life and 80 percent admitted that they are often too tired for sex at the end of the day. Seven out of ten respondents said that they would probably have sex more often if their partner tried harder when they go to sleep.
