Eat Everything, But Do It The Smart Way!

Some food is simply hard to resist as its consumption gives us sense of comfort.  However, if you combine properly fried potatoes, sausages, fatty cheeses and mayonnaise with other foods, there is no reason not to treat yourself with them, occasionally.

Mechanisms that create a sense of hunger are complex, as well as those that create a desire for pleasure. Some foods increase the feeling of comfort, but they are on the black list of dietitians.

Among them are fried potatoes, dry sausages, mayonnaise and cheese. Despite the fact that these foods are on the list of "forbidden", sometimes we can consume them without fear that we will spoil our hard-earned body figure or that we will bring too many harmful substances into our body.

What's the catch? It is necessary, in fact, to combine properly "unhealthy" foods with some other foods, because some foods can help in the degradation of harmful foods.

Fried potatoes are real calorie bombs, because during their preparation they are absorbing fat from the oil like a sponge. The problem is not just the calories that we take, but also and high levels of fat, which our organism cannot sustain.

That is why it would be good to combine fried potatoes with beans, because beans contain lecithin, which helps our organism to degrade fat. Lecithin is directly improving the dispersion of fat into smaller droplets.

Sausages made of first class pork are indeed attractive.  High quality meat in them is rich in iron and vitamins B. But, sausages are often very salty and calorie. It is recommended to combine sausages with salads of fresh or cooked vegetables, which contain large quantities of potassium. The best choices are tomatoes, spinach and potatoes, but bananas also contain a lot of potassium.

Mayonnaise also belongs to a group of foods that are hard to resist. 80 percent of mayonnaise content is made of vegetable oils, and the rest is made of eggs.  100gr of mayonnaise contains 700 calories. If you really can’t resist mayonnaise, you should combine it with foods which will facilitate the work of your liver and start your metabolism, and also reduce fat absorption in the gastrointestinal tract.

These foods are artichokes, chicory, asparagus, kale, and cabbage because they contain biologically active compounds (kinarin, caffeic acid), which reduce the amount of bad cholesterol levels (LDL) in your blood, and detoxify your liver.

If you love cheese, do not avoid eating it because of high levels of fat in it (30 to 40 percent). It would be best to eat cheese after soup made of vegetables with the addition of rosemary and thyme, because they contain terpenes. These herbs, together with fibers from vegetables, will facilitate the degradation and reduce the absorption of fat from cheese.
