The only way to find out what men think, is to ask them concrete question. But, that is not always easy. Writer Zoe Strimpel, after a year of research and testing, gave some explanations regarding men.

Many men are easy to read until the time comes to start a relationship. At least, that is what the experts say. When that moment comes, no matter how old are you, in most cases you’ll find yourself in an intricate and inexplicable circle.  Of course, you will try to keep that feeling for yourself.

Does he like me? Are we finally on the same wavelength or we're just friends? Should I stay with him? What is he actually doing and thinking? These are the questions that writer Zoe Strimpel tried to explain in her study.  During the whole year of her researcher, she interviewed men of different ages, different perspectives of life and different professions.

Strange but true: the only way to know what men really think is ask them concrete question, but that is not always easy.

She took into consideration all situations through which she or her friends passed, and asked for frank and open answers to her questions. Here are some questions and answers given by men who agreed to participate:

How is it possible that men, in one moment, run after women, and then act as if they forgot how to do that?
Forbidden fruit is the sweetest fruit. When a man manages to seduce the girl he wants, the thrill is no longer the same, like in the beginning.

What is the best thing a woman can do?
To keep her cool in most situations and to keep for herself some things she wants to say.

And the worst thing?
The worst thing is when women have too much enthusiasm in relationship and make plans for the future. I hate it when women are too related to men and when their behavior indicates that they are afraid of abandonment.

What do they say to a woman when they realize that she is not the right one for them?
I usually say that I do not have time for a serious relationship or simply break up.
Business commitments hinder me, and I am emotionally confused.
I am going out with my friends. If you want, join us.


Why are men so bad at communicating?
We are very lousy when it comes to conversation. It is difficult for us to find the courage for that act, and even among ourselves, we rarely talk about feelings and relationships. Men's conversations are mostly related to job, sport and women - in terms of how to win them, and not so much about what is happening our relationships.


What is the maximum number of men that women can admit that they slept with?

What are the opinions about a girl who agrees to sex on a first date?

What does a girl must have to create a desire in a man to marry her?
Strength and character are in the first place. She must be a good person, someone who will survive everything with you and will never think twice whether she wants to be with you. The very idea that you want your children to have a mother like her, that she's the one that will support your values and work. We believe in marriage, but we are not too burdened by it. We are giving up our freedom because we accept marriage and everything else that comes along - we do not want to grow old and be alone.

How important is it that a woman is careful about her appearance?
It is crucial. I couldn’t be with someone who doesn’t maintain regular hygiene, however, women who exaggerate with perfection and cleanliness do not attract me either – those who put too much make-up, have every hair in place, put strong nail varnish everyday... At the beginning of relationship, care is very important. Depilation is important thing, but if someone loves enough, he will get used to most things in a relationship or not notice them at all.


Why do men avoid conflict, and do not avoid being bad to their better half, when love is slowly disappearing?
Although many men do not want to admit it, most of them do not like to be alone, so, even the bad relationship is a good relationship until they find a better solution.

Men and shopping?
Men are shopping when they want, and before they go shopping, they know what they want to buy, where to find it and what is the price of the product. Shopping with a woman is something that we really do not enjoy, but we can bear it.

Although some things should be clearer after this research, it still remains the possibility that not everyone was completely honest and that they didn’t said the whole truth about most things, but unfortunately, that will never be revealed.
