In order to identify factors that predict the success of marriage, this writer has thoroughly studied even several decades’ old researches. The results were very surprised. Here is her list of 12 warning signs that predict divorce.

1. If you are a woman, and you got married before you turned 18, you have a 48 percent chance of divorce within 10 years.

2. If you are a woman who wants a baby more than her husband, your marriage is two times more likely to end than the marriage in which the partners agree on the number of children they will have.

3. If you have two sons, you face a 36.9 percent probability of divorce. However, if you have two girls, the chances are increasing to 43.1 percent.

4. If you are male and have a high level of testosterone, you have 43 percent more chances of divorce than men with low levels of testosterone.

5. If your child was diagnosed with ADHD - attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, you have 22.7 percent higher probability to divorce before the child turns 8.

6. If you’re not smiling on the photographs from your early childhood, the possibility of divorce is greater.

7. If your child died after the 20th week of pregnancy, during birth or shortly after birth, you have 40 percent greater chance to divorce than those who never lost a child.

8. If you are a woman who was recently diagnosed with a cancer or multiple sclerosis, your marriage is exposed to six times greater risk of divorce then the marriage in which your husband is ill with those diseases.

9. If your occupation is a dancer or a choreographer, you are exposed to 43.5 percent greater probability of divorce, unlike mathematicians or animal trainers.

10. If you are involved in agriculture, you have only a 7.63 percent probability of divorce, unlike other, stressful occupations.

11. If you or your partner have survived brain injury, your marriage is exposed to 17 percent chance of divorce.

12. If you are a woman and you are working for the army or police, you have 250 percent more chances of divorce than men who opted for these occupations.
