1. Take responsibility for your actions
Only if you feel responsible for what you have done, you will introduce a sense of order and control in your life. Do not blame the evil forces of the universe for the bad things that are happening to you. You must analyze yourself, your recent actions, things where you were maybe mistaking, and consider what you can do to improve yourself.
2. Relax and take your time
In the accelerated pace of modern life, we all complain about the chronic lack of time, but this is not entirely accurate. The real truth is hiding in the organization and order of our priorities. Some of your activities can probably be shortened by an hour or two, or they can be completely removed, without much consequences. You can use gained time for drawing, sewing, yoga, running, movies, socializing...
The most important thing is to learn how to spare a little time for your self, even if it means disregarding some other things. A new hobby can relax you and therefore make you better and more efficient in other areas.
3. Shorten your wish-list
Do you belong to those who always carry a list of wishes a mile long - a new car, new carpet in the living room, new kitchen, new engine... Such desires only put us under stress and make us unhappy when we think that we have not yet met them. Be satisfied with what you have. In fact, it is important to set a well thought out and realistic goals. Desire for material is like a snowball that we push down the hill – it just grows and grows. Of course, it is great to have dreams, but accept the fact that some of them will remain unrealized.
4. Silence your inner negative voice
Learn to be as less critical as possible of yourself and your actions, begin to appreciate things you do well, even if these things are trifles. Sometimes it is necessary to stop noticing doubt that eats you from within and to have one hundred percent confidence in yourself. Deal with real requirements and expectations and do not try to reach your goal at all costs - if it is exhausting you too much and makes you unhappy.
5. Don’t get mad because of the little things
Daily anger because of minor things is the source of negativity and discontent, like black hole that sucks in all energy and happiness. Because of that, you must train yourself to forgive. That is much better than to stress yourself with unimportant things.
6. Always find a reason to be happy
Some small things can make your day - be happy for the small things that you usually take for granted. Learn to appreciate the sunrise, waving of the grass on the spring breeze, warm summer rain, friendly people... Be one of those people who spread positive energy around them and beautify moments with other people with a pleasant smile.
7. Are you ready for change?
Routines and habits lead to chronic fatigue and dissatisfaction that can only be removed with small changes. You do not have to move to another place in order to completely change your lifestyle. Even details can spice up your daily life and eliminate aforementioned emotions.
You can, for example, rearrange the furniture in the living room during rainy Saturday afternoon or rearrange a bookshelf. For those more creative - paint over the living room into a vivid color that you like. Color therapy will do you good, and vibrant colors will give you energy and bring more enjoyment to your home.
If you are not in the mood for major changes, it is enough to bring in to your apartment a bouquet of wild flowers or fresh lilies.
